Ammyy Admin licensing policy (New pricing. From 1st November 2011)

Ammyy Inc. offers its clients 3 types of paid licenses: Starter, Premium and Corporate.

Starter license gives you opportunity to use Ammyy Admin without time limits via direct IP or HostName connection. Connections via Internet for PCs behind NATs which requre Ammyy dedicated routers are limited by 15 hours per month per computer the same as for Free license (conditions of restriction can be changed without notifications to users).

Premium license provides unlimited access to remote PCs both via direct IP, HostName or Internet connection for PCs behind NAT. Unlike Corporate license number of concurrent sessions is limited by 2 for sharing your computer, and by 4 for remote PC view/operation.

Corporate license provides connection unlimited by time and by number of concurrent sessions.

All types of licenses are lifetime.

* - Possible access limits, if software is used beyond 15 hours per month per computer. Conditions of restriction can be changed without notifications to users.


Free/Starter connects to Free/Starter

  • Free version is used for home and might be limited if used beyond 15 hours per month per computer*. Number of simultaneous outgoing/incoming connections - 2/1.
  • Starter is for home and commercial goals. Number of simultaneous outgoing/incoming connections - unlimited.
Connection via Internet behind NAT
  • Connection for PCs behind NAT via Internet might be limited if used beyond 15 hours per month per computer*.
    
Direct IP connection
  • Free version can be used for direct IP connection via Internet or in LAN without time limits for home goals.
  • Starter can be used for direct IP connection without time limits via Internet or in LAN for home and commercial goals.

  • Premium is used for home and commercial goals. Number of simultaneous outgoing/incoming connections - 4/2.
  • Corporate is used for home and commercial goals. Number of simultaneous outgoing/incoming connections - unlimited.

  • Connection for PCs behind NAT via Internet is unlimited for Premium/Corporate.
  • Connection for PCs with Free/Starter behind NAT via Internet might be limited if software is used beyond 15 hours per month per computer*.
    
Direct IP connection
  • Premium/Corporate/Starter can be used for direct IP connection via Internet or in LAN without time limits for home and commercial goals.
  • Free version is used for home only.
  • Number of simultaneous connections is unlimited for Corporate/Starter.

Ammyy Inc. offers 2 types of paid license for Ammyy Admin at present: Home and Business.

What are the main differencies between Home and Business?

"Home" license provides prepaid connection only between PCs on which "Home" license is installed. The connection between "Home" and "Free" can be restricted if the software is used beyond 15 hours per month per computer.

"Business" license provides prepaid connection in cases when one of the remote control session participants (client or operator) has "Business" license. Client or operator having "Business" license can have prepaid connection with unlimited number of remote PCs with Free, Business or Home license. The connection is considered to be prepaid by the side on which "Business" license is installed.

What do I pay for when buying license?

Ammyy Admin - is one software for operator and client. Thus the paid license implies payment for the number of PCs on which the license is to be activated. PC with activated license can be both operator and client.

Home 2pc
  • The license is installed on 2 PCs (to start using "Home 2pc" the license must be activated on both PCs).
  • Connection is considered to be prepaid only between 2 PCs on which "Home 2pc" is installed.
  • Connection between "Home" and unlimited number of "Free" can be restricted if the software is used beyond 15 hours per month per computer.

Home 4pc
  • The license is installed on 4 PCs (to start using "Home 4pc" the license must be activated on at least 2 PCs).
  • The connection is considered to be prepaid only between 4 PCs on which "Home 4pc" is installed.
  • Connection between "Home" and unlimited number of "Free" can be restricted if the software is used beyond 15 hours per month per computer.

Business 1pc
  • The license is installed on 1 PC which can be used as operator or client.
  • Connection with unlimited number of PCs with "Free", "Home" or "Business" is considered to be prepaid by the side having "Business 1pc" license.

Business 5/20/50pc
  • The license is installed on 5/20/50 PCs which can be used as operator or client.
  • The connection with unlimited number of PCs with "Free", "Home" or "Business" is considered to be prepaid by the side having "Business 5/20/50pc" license.
